Description
Cavalleria Rusticana is the first and certainly the most famous work of Pietro Mascagni Livorno. I will not bore you with the plot, I’ll go to the famous “intermezzo” which is probably the most well known aria of the entire opera.
A melody that goes with ternary rhythm – a slow waltz, so to speak – and with a strong emotional charge.
