This 16” bodhrán is crafted from Indian rosewood as this quality tonewood produces a particularly rich and expansive tone. And we’ve given it an extra deep rim of 5 ½ inches to give you added power, sustain and volume.
It features Paraic’s unique 8-point tuning system which we’ve devised to make it as easy as possible for you to fine-tune your bodhrán as you play.
It’s made using sustainably sourced, hand-stretched goatskin and the bodhrán itself is taped around the edges and this extends its harmonics and adds complexity to the bass tones.
This beautifully made, hand-crafted bodhrán produces rich, deep tones and a resonant sustain and is the ideal instrument to sit in on an Irish trad session.
