Description
The MSC10 Pro has been designed for new guitarists who seek a more traditional guitar experience than a high-tech one.
The guitar’s body is made from poplar, while its bolt-on neck is made from roasted maple combined with a satin finish.
Considering the low price point, roasted maple is an impressive feature to see on this guitar, as it helps to maximize the instrument’s stability and prevent the neck from being bent out of shape or damaged during performance.
Both of these wood types contribute to the MSC10 Pro’s resonant tone, which can be adjusted through its five-way pickup switch to cater to different musical styles.
This selects between five pickup combinations, with the neck pickup being a single-coil MSC-1N, the middle pickup being a single-coil MSC-1M, and the bridge featuring a classic MHB-1B dual-coil humbucker pickup. Further tweaks can be made with the two tone dials, along with a volume control dial.
The guitar’s neck is a standard C shape and is fitted with a bone nut and six MTN-1 chrome tuning pegs. It’s also layered with a tech ebony fingerboard, a white shell dotted inlay, 22 nickel silver frets, and a dual-action steel truss rod.
Finally, MOOER hasn’t shied away from including all of the minor but essential strat details: the MSC10 Pro also comes with a sturdy chrome strap pin, making it perfect for performers, and a tremolo-ready Vintage MVT-1 6-hole bridge.
