Description
Guild pioneered acoustic bass guitar design in the mid-1970s with the B-50, which featured a jumbo body shape, arched mahogany back, and an easy-to-play 30 3/4″ scale length. Decades later, these vintage designs return with our B-240E, offering bassists a workhorse acoustic instrument with a big sound that can hold its own in acoustic jams.
The B-240E boasts a solid Sitka spruce top over an arched mahogany back and mahogany sides, and an elegant Natural satin finish. Additional features include a pau ferro fingerboard and bridge, a slim C-shape neck profile, a bone nut and bone saddle, and a mother-of-pearl rosette. An integrated Fishman-designed BT-1 pickup system with Volume and Tone controls faithfully reproduces the bass guitar’s acoustic sound when it is amplified.
