Description
This revised edition is the third publishewd version of the composition. As first published in 1938 it was a cycle of five piano pieces derived from the 44 Violin Duos. During World War II, in about 1943, a new version was printed, containing a sixth piece, Walachian Dance, and some alterations in the Ukrainian Song. After the war the first edition remained in circulation without the changes. The present revised edition contains the composer’s additions as well as correction of minor technical details noted in the course of revision.
