Dmitri Dmitriyevich Shostakovich (25 September 1906 – 9 August 1975) was a Soviet Russian composer and pianist and a prominent figure of 20th century music.
Here we have seven easy pieces for solo Piano by Russian composer Shostakovich. In essence, they have been collated and compiled from his own Ballet Suites and are indicative of the style of his Children’s Notebook Op.59. Based on various dances, these pieces are interesting and enjoyable for developing pianists.
