Description
Here we have a collection of 30 new piano pieces – musically serious but unvirtuosic – reflecting the wide spectrum of compositional trends apparent in new music today. It serves as an invaluable introduction to contemporary music and is suitable for students, amateur and professional pianists of all ages.
The pieces range in levels of difficulty from Grade 1 to Grade 6 and also includes composer biographies and performance notes.
Commissioned by Thalia Myers, a pianist and a teacher.
