Michael Cleophas Oginski, with Retowa, Prince, (Born: October 7, 1765 in Guzów, Death: Oct. 15, 1833 in Florence) was not only a Polish composer but Grand Treasurer of Lithuania (1793-1796), a Russian Senator, a member of the Confederation of Targowica, and a member of the Confederation of Grodno as well as several other impressive titles. Here we have one of his most famous pieces – Polonaise in A minor.
